\"liveWe regularly add extra features and functionalities to your favorite Hepsia\u00a0Control Panel<\/a>. Although many of them are a result of comprehensive user needs researches, having a lot of features and options sometimes makes it hard to use by novices.<\/p>\n

For quick and easy navigation, we\u2019ve recently added the brand new live search functionality. It can be used for instant location of various features and services.<\/p>\n

The live search option is integrated in the right-hand widget and it can be accessed from every Control Panel section.<\/p>\n

Where is the live search?<\/h2>\n

As a matter of fact you have great freedom in positioning it! The pre-defined position we\u2019ve chosen is the top of your left-hand column, above My Plan Details.<\/p>\n

In case you or a customer has made any changes to the elements in the left column of the control pane, the Live Search bar will show up on the bottom.<\/span><\/p>\n

In both cases, you are free to re-position the search bar anywhere you want.<\/p>\n

How does the live search work?<\/h2>\n

The live search option is your clever shortcut to every section of the Web Hosting Control Panel.<\/p>\n

You can start your search by typing in a keyword relevant to a feature or a section of your choice. Currently there\u2019s a vast keyword searchable database already present. Of course, we will continue to expand it on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

Here is a quick example of how to use the search bar:<\/p>\n

Let’s say you\u2019d like to take a brief look at all of your domains.<\/p>\n

You just need to insert the keyword \u2018domains\u2019. Then a quick search will instantly take you to both of the options you have in the Control Panel: a) go directly to the Domain Manager section or b) go directly to the Help area of the Domain Manager section:<\/p>\n

You can also be much more specific when you use the live search. For instance, if you\u2019d like to park a particular domain name for some period of time, simply type in \u2018park a domain\u2019. Then you\u2019ll be instantly forwarded to the desired sub-section of the Domain Manager.<\/p>\n

How to use the live search most efficiently?<\/h2>\n

It is currently particularly helpful for domain searches<\/strong>. Once you type in the name of a specific domain the live search will instantly return the desired domain name. It will also show you all of the mailboxes which you\u2019ve associated with this particular domain name:<\/p>\n

A helpful list with all of the common domain\/email management options will also appear on the right side of the requested domain:<\/p>\n

Mailbox searches<\/strong> \u2013 you can easily access every option relevant to a given mailbox with the live search. Just type in the name of the mailbox in the field positioned under the magnifying glass:<\/p>\n

If you type in the \u201c@\u201d symbol and your domain name next to it, a list with all the mailboxes which you have associated with this specific domain will appear:<\/p>\n

The live search is also useful for database searches<\/strong>. You just need to insert the name of a MySQL\/PostgreSQL and you will be forwarded to the database management options, including a quick phpMyAdmin\/phpPgAdmin login option, a remote connection option and a password reset option:<\/p>\n

Application searches<\/strong> \u2013 the App Installer with all of the applications that you have installed is also accessible through live search.<\/p>\n

For example, type in \u2018wordpress\u2019 in the live search field. The search will return the following results: direct access to the installation page with the WordPress app pre-selected, a visual demo of a WordPress website, or an option to view all of the installed WordPress sites for that particular account, if any.<\/p>\n

Invoice searches<\/strong> \u2013 thanks to the live search, you can quickly access any details about a specific payment document by simply typing in its Invoice ID or Recurring Contract ID.<\/p>\n
