This applied only to more recent web hosting websites, running the latest stable WordPress release &#8211; 3.4.2.<\/p>\n<p>As it happens, WordPress 3.4.2, by default, blocks search engines from indexing your website. However, there is an easy way to change this. Log in to the WordPress admin area, navigate to Settings -> Privacy, select &#8220;Allow search engines to index this site&#8221; and click on &#8220;Save Changes&#8221;. Once the settings are saved, search engines will be once again able to find and index your website.<\/p>\n<p>This concerns only websites with fresh installations of the latest WordPress version &#8211; 3.4.2.
